The David Ian Vintage Christmas Experience

The David Ian Vintage Christmas Experience is the pianist’s live collection of jazz trio-based Christmas arrangements from his four “Vintage Christmas” releases spanning over a decade. The sound, as the title, is reminiscent of classic Christmas nostalgia with the notable influences of Vince Guaraldi and Bill Evans.

Born as David Ghazarian in Toronto, Canada to Armenian immigrant parents, Ian came early to music, beginning classical piano study at age five. As a teenager, he began to passionately pursue electric guitar where garage bands and rock music became his mainstay throughout his adolescent years. All the while, he continued private studies in both jazz and classical piano. After college, he became guitarist and co-founding member of the rock band Superchick, which earned a Grammy nomination in 2009 for best Rock/Rap Gospel Album. He has also toured and performed with Grammy Award winning artists including Rebecca St. James, Peter Furler, and Audio Adrenaline.
David Ian’s unique collision of musical genres has afforded him the inspiration to create a Christmas set of arrangements that will draw you into this warmest of seasons.

If you arrive after 45 minutes from the start time of the show and your ticket has been resold, although we cannot guarantee it, we will try our best to make space for you to attend the show.
