About Lamont Coleman
Lamont Coleman is an award-winning music producer, film composer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and actor with a track record of success across music, film, and television. He has worked with Wyclef Jean, Akon, Lil Wayne, T.I., Shakira, Aventura, Eve, and Jim Jones.
His production on Sweetest Girl/Dollar Bill (2008) earned a BMI Pop Music Award in 2009. He co-produced Why Can't We Live Together (2016) with Paul Shaffer featuring Darius Rucker and has composed for Disney, including Coop & Cami Ask the World (2018), Jump Into Wow (2021), and RoboGobo (2025).
In 2024, he won Best Score at the 54Film Fest for the short film Dance and is expanding into acting with a co-starring role in Miracle on Shelby Street (2025). With deep industry connections, Lamont continues to make an impact across music, film, and television.
