A place for comics to develop their ideas with other comics. A workshop for new ideas, new voices and just trying stuff out! Mondays at The Venue at 7pm. Open to anyone and everyone who wants to try out some stand up material, and wants real-time feedback in a workshop environment instead of in front of a crowd.
Curious spectators welcome- you don't have to do a set to be present.
Hosted by Eau Claire's own Laura Buchholz and a rotating group of local comics, with other friends and performers in attendance.

This is a combination open mic & workshop. The idea is that comics write together, get advice from each other, and figure out stuff together. It's free, it's meant to be respectful and collaborative. Stand up comedy is hard. This might help make it more fun and/or a good way to get guidance.
If you're just coming to check it out- great! You don't have to do a set.
The Venue is the back room of The Plus. You can enter through the doors on Graham Avenue, or through the back door of The Plus. Just ask a member of the staff, they'll show you where to go.
