The Dance of Tides

Celebrate summer island-style at The Dance of Tides with Tybee Ballet Theatre — an unforgettable evening of community, music, and movement under the coastal sky.

The evening begins at 5pm on the lawn of the historic Tybee Post Theater, where guests can enjoy food trucks, lawn games, hair braiding, face painting, and live music as the island comes alive with summer energy. As the sun begins to set, audiences will make their way to the beach around 7pm for a breathtaking seaside performance by Tybee Ballet Theatre’s Adult Company, dancing against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean and golden skies.

General Admission tickets are $30 and include access to both the lawn party and beach performance, plus a complimentary beer for guests 21 and over. Children 12 and under attend free, making this the perfect summer evening for families and friends alike. ($30 ticket holders are encouraged to bring your own seating for the beach performance).

Looking for the ultimate experience? VIP tickets are $50 and include everything in General Admission, plus a reserved front-row beach seating area complete with a personalized setup and an exclusive Tybee Ballet Theatre beach blanket to take home. VIP guests will also enjoy special treats and the best view of the performance.
