Dan Barnett is acknowledged as one of Australia’s most accomplished and professional performers. His powerful voice and swinging trombone form the backbone of the Dan Barnett Big Band.
Featuring original musical arrangements, the Dan Barnett Big Band delivers classic swing in the unique Dan Barnett style (with a voice that has been compared to Frank Sinatra and Harry Connick Jr).
With Dan, special guest Monica Trapaga is best known for her work on the Australian series Play School but is also an accomplished singer, actress and author. Her true love however is jazz.
Her first national tour was with James Morrison, Don Burrows and Bob Bernard which launched her career in the jazz world where she is in her element.
To hear Dan and Monica in a big band context is one of the most satisfying sounds in Australian music!
Tickets are $55.00 for adults ($45.00 for SH Jazz members) and $35.00 for students/children. Both reserved and unreserved seating (up the front) are available.
