The Daily Memphian Restaurant Insider

The Restaurant Insider is a new food event series hosted by Daily Memphian food writer Ellen Chamberlain on Friday, February 13th, from 11 am-1 pm.

Owners Sarah Cai and Arturo Leighton have curated a festive menu inspired by Lunar New Year traditions — a celebration known for dishes symbolizing prosperity, luck, and fresh beginnings. Expect foods with cultural meaning, such as noodles for longevity, dumplings for wealth, and ingredients that welcome good fortune into the year ahead.

As a bonus, this luncheon also offers a warm, relaxed way to ease into Valentine’s weekend — whether you’re treating yourself, enjoying time with friends, or kicking off a weekend of celebration with someone special.

The cost is $43.45 (inclusive of taxes, gratuity and fees).

Each ticket includes food, soft drink, tax and gratuity.

A curated mix of a Potato Dumpling, Pork Dumpling, Cucumber Salad, and Lumpia

Choose from either a rice or a noodle bowl.
