The Cypha Teen Open Mic

CREATE Words presents The Cypha, a teen-focused spoken word open mic event that provides a platform for youth & teens to showcase their talent in spoken word, poetry, and other forms of performance art. The event is designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for teens to express themselves, build confidence, and connect with other like-minded individuals.

The event is open to all youth and teens who want to participate, whether they are experienced performers or first-time open mic participants.

The Cypha includes a mix of open mic performances and featured performers. Open mic performers sign up in advance or on the night of the event and are given a set amount of time to perform their piece. Featured performers are invited to perform in advance and are given a longer set to showcase their work.

The Cypha is a community that celebrates diversity, inclusivity, and creativity.
