The Current: Fall Back to the Page, a Ten Thousand Words writing event

Writing requires focus, structure, and sometimes the right room.
The Current: Fall Back to the Page is a three-hour, in-person working session designed to help you surface, generate, and shape ideas through specific topical focus and creativity tools. For this session, we are also experimenting with a follow-up practice to for those who would like help moving those ideas forward into pieces to be developed and pitched for publication.

This is not a lecture or a traditional workshop. It’s a focused, facilitated space for people who want to think clearly, produce meaningful work, and benefit from the energy and perspective of a strong group. This session brings in new tools and tecniques for accessing your intuition and your words.

Together, we will:

• Generate and refine timely, publishable ideas
• Identify angles, themes, and potential markets
• Share work and thinking in a structured, supportive setting
• Leave with clear next steps and momentum beyond the session, including an accountability mechanism for those who would like that option

Our first two The Current gatherings filled with thoughtful, engaged participants and produced ideas and inspiration to commit more deeply to the practice of writing and publishing. This next session builds on that foundation, but there are no prerequisites to attend.
