The story follows 15-year-old Christina who has an extraordinary brain, excelling in mathematics but struggling with everyday life. Confined to familiar surroundings, she detests physical contact and harbors distrust for strangers. When she discovers her neighbor's dog murdered, Christina embarks on a clandestine investigation that dramatically alters her understanding of the world.
