A special invitation to all of Cumberland County: On Tuesday, August 12th, a Community Overdose Awareness Event will take place at the Crossville Downtown Amphitheatre. Be inspired as you hear stories of hope from those affected by overdose. Write a personal note or add the name of someone impacted by overdose to the large banner. Everyone will receive a purple ribbon to wear, a tea light, and a special bag to place a loved one's name or photo. Bring a small photo about 3 inches by 4 inches if you would like. Participate in the candlelight walk and show your support. The event runs from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. August is International Overdose Awareness Month, and on Tuesday, August 12th, everyone in Cumberland County is encouraged to attend this event, which includes stories of hope, a candlelight walk, and Narcan training, bringing awareness to the overdose crisis in our community and beyond.
