The Crystal Swing Band will transport you to the heyday of the swing era when couples danced cheek to cheek or jitterbugged on ballroom floors all over the country to the popular big bands. Playing big band swing and jazz from the 1930s & 1940s era, they play the music of Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Harry James and other great big bands. Led by drummer Kristin Anderson-Bohan, the Crystal Swing Band consists of the finest professional musicians from the metro area and have been featured at hundreds of performances. They recently released their CD Live From the Avalon Ballroom.
