The Creative Shift: Building Between Milestones is a half-day public event at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. The event is designed around two standalone sessions, giving you the flexibility to attend one or stay for both.
Open to anyone at any stage of their creative life.
Panel Discussion: Things We Figured Out Along the Way
Hear creatives from different disciplines and career stages share honest conversations about the parts of creative growth that don't usually get talked about. The lessons, challenges, and moments of uncertainty that shaped their creative paths.
Workshop: Where Are You Right Now?
In a facilitated small-group workshop, participants reflect on what the panel conversations mean in the context of their own creative journey. Through guided prompts and peer discussion, the workshop invites participants to reflect, connect, and gain new perspectives through one another's experiences.
Between sessions, enjoy light refreshments and take time to connect with fellow attendees, continue the conversations sparked by the panel, and explore the Emily Carr campus. It’s an informal opportunity to meet others, exchange ideas, and keep the conversation going.
