About this Event
Friends of Historic Nacogdoches, Inc. invites the community to enjoy an evening of music, humor, and Texas history with a performance of The Crash at Crush, presented by Austin-based performance group Texas Comedies.
The musical comedy is based on the incredible true story of a staged train crash near the temporary town of Crush, Texas. In 1896, railroad promoter William Crush orchestrated a dramatic publicity stunt that sent two locomotives racing toward each other before a crowd of more than 40,000 spectators.
The performance will take place Friday, May 15, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Zion Hill Historic Site, 324 N. Lanana Street.
Tickets are $10 and will be available beginning April 1 at Zion Hill Historic Site and online through Eventbrite.com. The performance is free with priority seating for members of Friends of Historic Nacogdoches, Inc.
