We are really looking forward to presenting The Court Jester along with a dance afterwards this year, which we unfortunately had to postpone last year.

For our June 2025 movie and swing dance at the atmospheric 1937 art deco Empire Cinema we have chosen the hilarious 1955 medieval musical comedy The Court Jester starring Danny Kaye, Glynis Johns, Basil Rathbone, Angela Lansbury and Cecil Parker.
This month’s movie is the same weekend as the fabulous Le Weekend Medieval, Sandwich’s medieval themed weekend so 50% of tonight’s profit will go towards the awesome Sandwich Medieval Centre.
After the film we will have music and dance until 8pm with a great mix of 1950’s rock’n’roll, rockabilly and doowop.
