What is The Cosmic Walk?
The Cosmic Walk is an interactive ritual that invites participants to step into the unfolding story of our Universe. Our spiral pathway, illuminated by lights and greenery, invites you to encounter 'stations' that represent key moments in the history of the Cosmos—from the birth of stars to the emergence of life on Earth, and beyond. Through movement, reflection, and ritual, we tell the story of our Universe, Earth, humanity, and name our own place in our unfolding cosmos.
All are welcome!
This event is indoors open to people of all ages and abilities. The walk is designed to be inclusive, offering a meaningful experience for everyone, whether you are coming for spiritual reflection, a celebration of science, or simply to enjoy a shared community gathering as we approach the New Year. We are LGBTQ+ affirming and welcome all families.
What to Expect:
-- An engaging and immersive storytelling experience with moments for reflection as we journey through the Cosmos
-- A ritual gathering: this is not an outdoor hike or nature walk
-- A welcoming atmosphere with snacks and hot cocoa to enjoy, and a cosmos themed craft and activity for kids
-- A unique, indoor ritual experience that connects us to the deep-time wonders of the Cosmos, and to one another.
