The Livonia Human Relations Commission invites the community to “The Conversation: Mental Health & Wellness,” a free event offering an engaging opportunity to connect with mental health professionals in an interactive setting. Guests can take part in panel discussions, presentations, vendor booths, and Q&A sessions focused on a wide range of important topics, including trauma, substance abuse, family and youth mental health, depression, aging, suicide, and more. The event will be held on Saturday, Aug. 15, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Civic Center Library on Five Mile Road. Several organizations will be present, including Starfish Family Services, Hegira Health, Cruz Clinic, Recovery Action Network, and SPN Survivors, providing resources and insights to support mental wellness for all community members.
