We are delighted to welcome you to the next Swindon Dental Study Club, an inititive to bring together like minded individuals to enhance clinical skills, exchange knowledge and build a professional network. Hosted by Pratik Patel (Principal dentist at Swindon Dental & Implant Clinic), the events are free to attend and offer verifiable CPD.

This session will focus onthe use of the digital workflow in producing predictable dentures.

Aim

To provide the dental team with a practical overview of the complete digital denture workflow, from patient assessment and clinical records through to laboratory design, manufacture and fit.

Objectives

• Discuss patient assessment, case selection and treatment planning for digital denture workflows
• Demonstrate the key clinical stages including digital impressions, jaw registration and communication with the laboratory
• Explain the laboratory and CAD/CAM processes involved in the design and manufacture of digital dentures
• Evaluate the advantages, limitations and practical application of digital dentures in contemporary clinical practice

What: 1.5 hours verifiable CPD

When: June 11th Food from 6pm for 6.30pm start

About the Speaker:

Ashley Byrnes

Ashley is a leader in modern dental technology. Ashley qualified with a BSc(hons) degree in Dental Technology in 2000 and started his own lab with his Dad in 2006. As early pioneers in a new digital way of working, the lab has gone from strength to strength. Ashley lectures on digital dentistry as well as building a highly motivated team, and has spoken in countries as far as the USA, India and South Africa. He is both an ITI and the College of General Dentistry Fellow.
