The Complete Crisis Clinician: Suicide Assessment, Intervention, and Safety Planning.
Suicide prevention isn’t just about recognizing the warning signs. It’s about knowing how to ask the right questions, having difficult conversations, assessing risk, and responding with confidence.
This interactive weekend workshop gives counselors and helping professionals practical tools they can use when supporting individuals experiencing emotional distress, suicidal thoughts, or self-harm concerns. Participants will explore suicide risk assessment, non-violent communication, individualized safety planning, and special population risk factors..
This CEU opportunity will provide participants with 25 CE clock hours in the following content areas:
- 20 hours in Diagnosis
- 1.0 hour in Ethics
- 0.5 hour in Social and Cultural Foundations
- 3.5 general CE hours
Through engaging discussion, real-world scenarios, and hands-on practice, participants will learn how to move from “I’m concerned” to “I know what to do next.”
