The event will begin with an exclusive overview of our new Clinical Reports, including insights from our beta programme and how practitioners are already using an integrated approach to genetics, biomarkers and symptoms to build a more complete picture of patient health.
Our keynote presentation, Beyond MTHFR: Integrating Folate and Methylation Genetics to Support Pre-conception Health and Energy Metabolism, will be delivered by Dr Dean St Mart.
The session will explore the interaction between folate metabolism, vitamin B12 transport, homocysteine remethylation, choline metabolism and trans-sulfuration, highlighting how genetic variants may become clinically significant when considered alongside nutrient deficiencies, anaemia and thyroid dysfunction. Rather than viewing genetics in isolation, attendees will learn how a biomarker-led approach can guide targeted nutritional interventions and support better outcomes in pre-conception care, pregnancy preparation and energy metabolism.
Following the keynote, Dr Dean St Mart will be joined by Sue Camp and Jess O'Dwyer for a live panel discussion exploring how practitioners can integrate genetics and functional markers into everyday clinical practice.
The afternoon will conclude with an audience Q&A, giving you the opportunity to put your questions directly to the panel and discuss the future of integrated diagnostics in functional medicine.
