The Community Classroom: Planting Seeds for Financial Success

Welcome to The Community Classroom at Garden of Knowledge: a new, parent-led learning series where families, culture, and real-world experiences come together. This special program brings education beyond the classroom walls by inviting parents to share their careers, passions, and life skills with our children and community. Each month, a parent host will lead a hands-on workshop that blends practical learning, cultural enrichment, and early childhood curriculum themes.

This workshop, Planting Seeds for Financial Success, is an in-person experience where families will explore easy tips and simple steps to grow money smarts together. Through hands-on activities, games, and real-life examples, we’ll introduce age-appropriate concepts like saving, spending wisely, sharing, and setting goals. Children ages 2-8 years old are welcomed, and parents/guardians must attend as well.
