WHAT IT IS: A gathering of adults to play with communication and connection. We offer these once a month – come to some or all; come alone or with a friend or partner; all diversities welcome.
WHY: Because connection, authenticity, communication, play, and learning all create belonging in community, and a quality life. We love that!
OUR INTENTION: to nurture an emotionally safe environment through dialogues, improv, vibrant questions, experiential exercises, and mining of group wisdom. We love this too!
WHO: You and people you wish to invite. Please forward this announcement to whoever you invite so they will have this background information; and please ask each one to register on Eventbrite so we have email addresses.
WHERE: A beautiful oceanside private venue in west Santa Cruz. (We'll send you address/directions and more information in an email the day before the event.)

A BIT ABOUT US: Mark and Jean are friends and colleagues who have a combined passion for authenticity, and cultivating skillful communication that impacts all relationships and connections. We enjoy sharing life’s challenges and joys, tuning into present reality and future potentiality, and…funabundancy. Our backgrounds are uniquely and richly involved with service orientations, learning/growth, and listening/empathy practices.
COST: a portion of your donation of $25 (more or less, your choice) in advance on Eventbrite or at the door contributes to the scholarship fund for NVC Santa Cruz. In either case a registration on Eventbrite is required.
Please RSVP on Eventbrite below, ASAP! Our event is suitable for 20. We will have a waiting list. If you’re one of the registered 20, please let us know if you can’t come after all, so we can scoot in someone else.

AFTER YOU REGISTER: We will follow up with an email the day before the event, with a reminder, directions/address, parking info, etc.
SNACKS: We’ll have some delicious and mostly healthy choices (including Mark’s famous truffles!) as you arrive and after our closing. Please bring your own beverage. NOTE - This is an alcohol/substance-free event (and please refrain from these the day of our event, to support health, authenticity, and emotional safety).
