The Comedy Show for Positive Change

Life in New York City can be a lot. Rent is high enough to make you consider moving in with your ex’s roommate, public health challenges continue to evolve like they’re training for a marathon sponsored by RFK Jr., and too many people still face barriers to accessing the care, support, and opportunities they need to thrive - mostly because they're eaten by rent for an apartment so small it gives you a stress disorder from feeling trapped, which becomes yet another thing you need to deal with.

Grassroots Comedy has seen enough, which is why we're supporting Alliance for Positive Change with a night of joy and laughter. For more than 35 years, Alliance has helped New Yorkers overcome barriers to health, housing, recovery, and economic stability. Through programs focused on HIV care, harm reduction, supportive housing, peer services, workforce development, and economic mobility, Alliance helps thousands of people each year access the support they need to build healthier, more stable futures.

Featuring a lineup of some of the best comedians in NYC, all coming together to support a cause that makes a real difference in the lives of New Yorkers.

Start with a drink, connect with fellow supporters, and settle in for an evening of laughter for a good cause. All proceeds from the event will support Alliance for Positive Change and its work strengthening the health and well-being of communities across New York City.
