The 2025 Color & Contour of Music competition explores the subject of DARKNESS INTO LIGHT inspired by Beethoven’s 5th Symphony. Create an original piece of art using “Darkness into Light” as inspiration.
PRIZES:
▶ 2 tickets to the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra’s performance of Beethoven’s 5th: Darkness to Light (February 15-16, 2025) OR a FAMILY 4 PACK to the Spring Family Concert, a shorter program which includes an excerpt from Beethoven’s 5th as well as Really Inventive Stuff’s vaudevillian version of Peter and the Wolf, movie music from The Barbie Movie and Disney’s Encanto, and post-concert activities (1pm Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025)

▶ Winning art will serve as cover art for the DSO’s February 15-16 concert program book
