On Saturday, August 1, at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts in Bay Harbor, we’ll host the premiere celebration of a project years in the making: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬, our new legacy publication exploring Charlevoix’s maritime identity, and the history that shaped the Lake Charlevoix region.
This 682‑page fine-art book brings together hundreds of archival images, new photography, and original scholarship to illuminate the waterways, people, communities, and commerce that continue to shape our corner of the world today.
This benefit evening will feature a special program with the book’s authors and creative team, with proceeds supporting the Society’s Museum at Harsha House. Guests may also reserve a copy of the book during ticket purchase if they wish.
This gathering is for everyone — whether you plan to purchase the book or simply want to be part of the night.
