The Middletown Business Improvement District, In partnership with the City of Middletown, has created a standing tradition with The City of Middletown's Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Parade and Ceremony the day after Thanksgiving. Starting on North Street, the parade heads to West Main Street and draws to a conclusion at John F Degnan Square for a ceremony involving a special appearance from Santa to assist in lighting the tree.This year's festivities will take place on Friday, November 28th, 2025. Live Entertainment will take place at John F Degnan Square on West Main Street starting at 6 PM
