The Champion Caregiver: Advanced Childcare & Youth Development Training

This intensive, 12-hour intermediate-level training is designed for early childhood educators, childcare teachers, and summer camp professionals seeking to bridge the foundational principles of child care with advanced, inclusive school-age day camp operations. Participants will engage in deep-dive sessions covering Wisconsin DCF licensing compliance, mandated abuse and neglect reporting, robust attendance integrity tracking, and transportation tracking. The course moves into interactive strategy development for multi-age classroom management, trauma-informed behavior de-escalation, sensory room integration, and universal design for lesson planning. By linking operational policies—such as staff punctuality boundaries and financial tracking—with hands-on inclusion training, this course equips participants to foster exceptionally safe, supportive, and structured youth environments.
