The Center Presents: Umphrey’s McGee

Umphrey’s McGee returns to Jackson, bringing their Fresh Cut Tour to The Center Theater this March.
From the beginning, Umphrey’s built its own lane, pairing progressive-rock precision with the risk of nightly improvisation and seeing genres less as rules than ingredients.
That same spirit has fueled decades of fan-first innovation, from UMLive and Headphones & Snowcones to UMBowl, destination events and Blueprints, which transformed fan-selected live improvisations into fully realized compositions. Through lineup changes, detours, and a constantly shifting world, the essential impulse remains intact: get in a room together, make something that feels alive, and follow it wherever it leads.
