Auditions for The Cemetery Club: Saturday, June 27th from 1 to 4 p.m. in Room #30, Stuart’s Opera House. When you arrive, you’ll complete a form giving contact information and listing any prior theatrical experience you have. Auditions will consist of readings from the script. Come at 1 and plan for 3 hours.
The single performance will be on Sunday, July 19th, at 2:00 p.m. at Stuart's Opera House in the Lobby. This will be a staged reading, so there are no lines to memorize. The play is written for four women and one man. A narrator, required for the staged reading, is also a key role.
If you’ve been thinking that it might be fun to try community theater, here’s a chance to see what you can do. You won’t have to dance or memorize long speeches for this show. There will be regular rehearsals at which you’ll have a chance to hone your delivery so that the audience members will laugh or cry as they are drawn into the story you and your cast present. You’ll love it!
