Do you like jiu-jitsu? Do you like helping out kids? Well Ive got the event for you!
The Catalina Submission Mixer is charity seminar with the sole purpose of raising money to benefit the kids of the Children's Hospital of Illinois right here in Peoria! We bring in 4 high level black belts to each teach an hour of their favorite techniques. We start off with breakfast (coffee, fruit, donuts, etc), then our guest instructor take the floor, after we wrap up the jiu-jitsu, then its lunch time where will will serve tacos, salsa, pulled pork and more!
This is a great way to raise money to buy toys, games, clothes, and supplies for our kiddos that are being treated in the Childrens Hospital of Illinois. It is also a way for the jiu-jitsu community to come together and just have some fun. We usually have 8 to 10 team represented for the Mixer. It's a blast!
