The production features the terrific “velvet” voice of Carole Gordon who can recreate the deep rich tones of Karen Carpenter with ease , the authentic sound is also due in no small part to the much sought after MD Martyn Cooper and the wonderful 7 piece band which includes excellent saxophone/ woodwind plus backing singers who can create those instantly recognisable harmonies.
This is certainly no look alike production but an evening of pure class that exudes nostalgia at its very best !
The show is very well established and popular with the mainstream audience in today’s busy theatres.
