“There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafah…” (Muslim)
Among the sacred first ten days of Dhul Hijjah, the Day of Arafah stands as the most powerful of them all. This is the day when millions of pilgrims gather on the plains of Arafah, raising trembling hands and spilling their hearts before Allah.
For those of us who long for that moment but cannot make Hajj, we want you to experience something of this moment.
This year, we invite you to honour the day of Arafah:
A Two-Part Arafah Experience for the Heart:
Part 1: Online Dua Workshop
🗓 Saturday 23rd May, 11am-12pm
📍 Online via Zoom
Making dua isn’t easy. What do you say? How do you ask? How do you ask with presence?
This session will guiding you to curate your own dua list and understand the etiquettes of dua.
Part 2: Day of Arafah Retreat
🗓 Tuesday 26th May, 1:30pm-4:45pm
📍St Ethelburgas Tent, London
An immersive afternoon of dua, reflection, stillness and connection with Allah where you will be emulating the pilgrims at Arafah and calling upon Allah.

About the teacher: Ustadha Zainab Ahmed Eneborg earned her ‘Alimiyyah qualification from Ebrahim College, East London, in 2017. She then completed a one-year Diploma in Contextual Islamic Studies and Leadership at Cambridge Muslim College, thereafter joining the inaugural cohort of the College’s BA Program in Islamic Studies, from which she graduated in 2020. Zainab went on to pursue further traditional Islamic studies in Istanbul for two years. She currently balances her time between being a mother and pursuing graduate studies in Philosophy at University College London.
