No genre is safe from this band! Dub-infused rhythms and knees-up ska collide courageously with eastern melodies, world instruments and infectious vocal hooks to form an alluring and energetic sound.
The Cabarats are constantly sourcing inspiration from all over the world, but have a particular passion for Reggae and Ska, as well as traditional music from Eastern Europe and the Middle East. The sound is embellished with electronic samples and a uniquely psychedelic texture which segues dynamically from one style to another, often succumbing to climactic moments of heavy rock.
The ever-growing list of instruments played by these five individuals includes, accordion, outar (a custom built fretless oud-guitar hybrid), keyboards, brass, guitars, drums, pedals, synths, sirens, samplers and more!
What could have become a very niche sound has actually turned out to be extremely accessible and is just as popular with festival goers as it is with young children and their grandparents!
Since releasing their debut album in 2017, the band have had a very exciting journey with highlights including appearing on one of the main stages at Boomtown Fair &, performing on the BBC Introducing stage at Looe Saves the Day. Their list of festival appearances are endless but include Camp Bestival, Tropical Pressure, and Goulash Disko in Croatia.
In early 2023, the long-awaited second album ‘A Fool’s Paradise’ was released. The band have seriously upped their game with this release with new genres unlocked and high quality production from Momentum Studios. Several tracks from the album have since been snapped up by several radio stations including BBC Radio Devon and Cornwall.
The Cabarats have had the pleasure of supporting renowned acts such as Dubioza Kolektiv, Tankus the Henge, The Undercover Hippy, and Cut Capers as well as headlining their own shows across the nation and embarking on various European adventures. They continue to share their magic at festivals, venues, private parties, community events and even a few street corners. Keep your eyes peeled for a performance near you!

Siobhán & The Sunset Haze
Hailing from the South Coast, Siobhán began her career as a solo singer-songwriter telling her honest tales of love, loss, and lessons learned, through her storytelling of real-life events with powerful vocals and leaving no stone left unturned.
She’s now backed by her band ‘The Sunset Haze’, formed in 2019, they’ve spent the last 4 years honing their sound, and perfecting their unique image, and style as a collective.
After having released their debut EP “Playing the Part” back in 2022, they have played all along the South Coast at iconic venues and multiple festivals such as Teddy Rocks and Fuelled By Cider events. Now having released their latest spooky single ‘Witching Hour’, they are back and standing tall with their melodic folk-rock fusion, and high energy, wild-hearted live shows, ready to make their mark in 2025.

Simon Maggs & People Like Us return to the The Railway Inn following the launch of their well received latest single and EP releases. Indie-folkie (sometimes protest-ie) songs draw on relatable stories & contemporary social themes, wry lyrics, occasionally with kitchen-sink drama narratives & reflections on Simon’s northern roots.
Melancholy melodies, a little social commentary, together with catchy and uplifting tunes capture the lyrical spirit of the likes of Billy Bragg, The Smiths, Frank Turner, Martin Stephenson, Paul Heaton and John Bramwell/I Am Kloot.
