About this Event

Purpose

The purpose of this interactive workshop is to engage residents in developing a community-driven framework for improving transparency, accountability, and public participation in Tallahassee’s decision-making process.

Participants will help shape recommendations for an Inclusive People-Centered Government Policy that ensures residents have meaningful opportunities to provide input before major city decisions are finalized.


Policy Workshop Objectives:
  1. Learn how decisions currently move through the City Commission process.
  2. Identify barriers to public participation.
  3. Discuss opportunities for greater community involvement.
  4. Develop recommendations to improve transparency in decision-making.
  5. Build a citizen-centered policy framework.
