The Spiritual Center of the Desert will host the monks of Gaden Shartse Monastery Phukang as part of their Sacred Harmony World Peace Tour. In a time of global uncertainty, the monks share the ancient wisdom of Tibetan Buddhism through sacred chanting, art and teachings that inspire peace, healing, and compassion. These powerful immersive experiences are intended to cultivate inner harmony and extend a ripple of healing energy throughout the community.
Suggested donations for events $20 - $25. All are welcome, nobody turned away for lack of funds.

Wednesday, May 6th 10 AM ~ Loving Kindness Meditation ~ A practice of opening the heart to compassion lead by Ven. Geshe Kalsang.
Wednesday, May 6th 6 PM ~ Chanting of the Heart Sutra ~ Immerse yourself in the deep resonance and guttural tones of Tibetan monks chanting the Heart Sutra. This revered Buddhist text, a luminous guide to emptiness.
Thursday, May 7th 10 AM ~ Peaceful Mind in a Chaotic World ~ Explore how to cultivate a peaceful mind through Buddhist wisdom and practical guidance.
Thursday, May 7th 6 PM ~ Chey Drol Ritual ~ A ceremony to remove obstacles, where participants symbolically release negative patterns using rainbow threads.
