The BRW Book Series: Presenting N.M. Shabazz, Ed.D.

Dr. Shabazz will present a brief Black history talk, introduce his two historical book series, and read from his latest scholarly work.
About this Event

Dr. N.M. Shabazz will set the tone with a dynamic 10-minute Black history presentation and an introduction to his two historical book series. He will then read selected passages from his latest scholarly work, From the Cotton Fields to a Village: What Went Wrong with Black Education, which examines the history, strength, and lasting influence of Black educational communities.

The presentation will be followed by a 30-minute question-and-answer session, giving audience members an opportunity to engage directly with Dr. Shabazz and discuss the historical and contemporary issues raised in the book.

A reception and book signing will follow the program. All eight books from Dr. Shabazz’s two series will be available for purchase, with opportunities to save through special book bundles and multiple-book purchases.
