The Breathing Cypher

Since 2019, The Breathing Cypher has blended the brilliance of Hip Hop with the stillness of meditation. This first cypher of 2026 honors the life and legacy of one of Hip Hop’s most pensively powerful producers, J Dilla—marking 20 years since the release of Donuts (February 7, ’06), his birthday (February 7, ’06), and his untimely passing (February 10, ’06). As always, we’ll breathe deep, intentional breaths in rhythm with a live mix. This time, we’ll drift into Dilla’s restorative soundscape and close with a creative share over Call It Coffee beverages and doughnut treats.
