🔥 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT – 40th Anniversary Tour Hits The Wheatsheaf! 🔥We are absolutely buzzing to announce that The Breakdowns will be joining us as part of their 40th Anniversary Tour 🎸🎤
Formed back in 1985 and first hitting the stage in 1986, The Breakdowns were right there mingling with the likes of the Sex Pistols and other legends of the punk scene. People tried to label them punk, but the truth is — they’ve always had their own raw sound and identity.
Like many great bands, the early years saw line-ups come and go. But over time things grew stronger, more stable, and the music only got better. And now… they’re back, tighter and more electrifying than ever, with a line-up that’s pure fire:
🎶 Esther Francis on bass (straight out of Calne!)
🥁 Dave Goodman on drums (flying in from Australia!)
🎸 And of course, Ian Ashman on guitar — who first picked up the instrument back in 1976, went from solo playing to full band chaos, and has kept the spirit of live music alive through it all.
This is going to be one hell of a night — a chance to relive the grit, the stories, the chaos, and the anthems of a band that’s walked the walk and lived the scene.
