Every summer on the South Coast, athletes lose valuable time and energy—not because of poor physical fitness, but because they are trying to swim with an indoor pool stroke in real-world sea conditions.
25% of triathlons are in the sea, yet research stats show that triathletes in the south of england only manage 1-2 sea swims before their big A race of the year!
To manage sea swim entries and save your energy for the bike and run, your stroke mechanics have to change the second you hit the surf:
High-Clearance Recovery: Keep your recovery high and punchy to slice over the incoming chop rather than swinging your arms flat and catching the swell.
� Prerequisite for this training: This is an intensive technical masterclass. To join our squad, you must be able to swim at least 1,000m continuously in a pool in under 24 minutes.
We pack an entire seasonal sea-swimming progression into 4 high-focus, 30-minute blocks. Each block combines a short sand briefing with immediate in-water application so you stay warm, focused, and learning continuously.
