About this Event

Join us for THE BOOKOUT: Read & Run on Saturday, August 15th!

We'll walk or run around Lake Merritt and cool down with an interactive storytime specially designed for children ages 0–8. All ages are welcome to join in the fun.

We'll start our lap around Lake Merritt at 10:00 am—come early for a quick group stretch. Stories will start at 11:00 am. Expect lively read-alouds, art activities, and a space for young readers and their families to connect and explore the joy of storytelling.
