The Boblo Islanders are a Detroit-based string band playing 1920's-1940's music featuring Hawaiian Steel Guitar, Sister Harmonies, Fiddles and Ukulele. Pulling from old recordings, sheet music and old movies, they play tunes from the golden era of resonator steel guitar in pop music. Featuring members of a Robin Theatre favorite act, Roochie Toochie & the Ragtime Shepherd Kings, you better believe we're geeked to see this delightful permutation on the stage!

The Fabulous Heftones are Brian and Lynn, playing the tunes and ditties of the 1920's and more. A beloved Lansing original, this duo is totally charming and odd. We love them.
