Old Erie Canal Boat Float n'Folk Fest- Saturday, June 15, 2024Join hundreds of paddlers at this annual paddling event as we fill the Old Erie Canal with colorful kayaks, canoes, and stand up paddleboards! Choose from 4 launch locations depending on your preferred distance with the option of shuttle service.

From 11 am to 5 pm, immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the Folk Fest, with music by Fish Creek Rodeo, Old Erie, Lou Kaplan & the Westcott Jugsuckers. Satisfy your hunger cravings with a variety of delicious offerings from local food trucks while you explore the rich heritage of folk arts with live demonstrations including basketry, blacksmithing, fiber arts and more! Kids feeling crafty? Help them dive in and try out some of these traditional crafts under the guidance of skilled artisans. Love to shop? We have that too! Peruse through a marketplace bustling with craft artisans, showcasing their unique creations for sale. From handmade jewelry to intricately woven textiles, there's no shortage of treasures to discover.
