We are excited to invite you to the Bluebell Music & Arts Festival 2025 that will be held on 8-10 March 2025 just outside of the nation’s capital. The purpose of the festival is to celebrate and showcase female artists in the underground electronic music industry. The festival coincides with International Women's Day on 8 March and has all-female artists line-up including DJs and music producers of various music genres, performers and several different artists showcasing their art in the art gallery.

The name Bluebell comes from the Royal Bluebell (Wahlenbergia gloriosa) which is the floral emblem of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). This small, delicate flower is known for its deep blue colour and remarkable ability to thrive in harsh, cold conditions, making it a symbol of resilience and beauty. Native to the alpine and sub-alpine woodlands of the ACT, south-eastern New South Wales, and Victoria, the Royal Bluebell grows on the mountain tops around
Canberra. It stands as a reminder of the natural beauty that surrounds Canberra and reflects the endurance and strength of the ACT’s people and environment. Blossoms grown 6cm above the ground and have five petals with a cluster of white stamens in the centre. Though it is called a bluebell, its colour is actually a deep purple!

Bush Kulture is a collaborative not-for-profit music and arts initiative of a group of like-minded people passionate about underground electronic music culture and scene. Among other things Bush Kulture will specialise in unique music and arts events and creative multimedia projects focused on promoting and supporting underground artists and the local music scene.
