This original escape room style event will be hosted by Caywood Farms for 3 weekends this fall. We are located in south Bradley County, in the Valley View community. Your team will have up to an hour, to solve The Blue Ribbon Mystery by working your way through a series of puzzles. If you do not solve the mystery in one hour, the solution will be given to you. This truly is like an escape room….minus the room.
After using all that brain power, you will have surely worked up an appetite so you’ll follow us to a Chili dog supper that our on-site food truck, Lil’ Heifer Hut, will have prepared (included in your ticket).
THIS MAKES A GREAT FAMILY OUTING, BIRTHDAY PARTY, OR YOUTH GROUP ACTIVITY.
Storyline:
Every October brings the long-awaited Sweet Hallow Fall Festival —for one weekend, the town square is filled with flannel shirts, pumpkin displays, and the scent of cinnamon in the air. There are activities, events and competitions for the whole community but, the most anticipated event of all has to be the Sweet Hollow Baking Contest.
This isn’t just any baking contest; it’s a competitive bake-off where local bakers compete for the coveted Blue Ribbon, a hand stitched symbol of sweet supremacy, passed down for generations. The Blue Ribbon is displayed proudly in a glass cabinet at the center of town until it is moved to the mayor’s office, the night before each year’s awards ceremony.
For the past 22 years, the winner has always been the same — Millie Jean Appleton with her fiercely guarded baking secrets and unbeatable apple stack cake, the other bakers never really stand a chance. Some of the townsfolk have joked that the contest needs to be postponed until Millie Jean retires or, God forbid, until she’s laid to rest. But, this year, the competition has been more fierce than ever. Talk is someone might finally have out-baked Millie Jean!
It is time for Mayor Buttertree to report to the awards ceremony to present the Blue Ribbon but as the judges make their final decisions, the mayor’s assistant notices something’s wrong.
The box holding the Blue Ribbon is mysteriously locked — and the key is missing.
Mayor Buttertree has vanished without a word.
And most curious of all: Millie Jean is nowhere to be found.
You and your team have one hour to solve the mystery, track down the missing people, and unlock the box before the whole event unravels. The fate of Sweet Hallow’s tastiest tradition depends on you.

Adult (11+) $40, which includes the game and a 2 hot dog meal
Child (10 & under) $30, which includes the game and a 1 hot dog meal
*10% off any purchase of 6+ tickets. Payment is due at time of purchase. Cancelation prior to 10 days in advance will receive a 50% refund. Cancelation less than 10 days prior to the event is nonrefundable.
