SHADOW PLAY is a wound you enter: a wake no one announced, a house of unfinished dances, people folded into shadow. Moving sideways, as memory does, through fragments of a life, the audience is invited to sit with what we usually refuse to face: grief, absence, love, and the strange beauty that can exist inside endings.
A séance without superstition; a communion with the parts of ourselves we buried alongside those we lost.
Performed once and never repeated, SHADOW PLAY disappears the moment it is fully felt, the way everything true eventually does.
The Bloody Poets is a multidisciplinary collective creating immersive, site-specific experiences that bring together poetry, music, dance, multimedia, and performance art. Born in London's warehouse scene, their work has since transformed churches, warehouses, car parks, private homes, tunnels, galleries, and pubs across UK, Berlin, Barcelona, and Sicily. Following productions for the Windsor Fringe Festival in 2022 and 2023, the collective returns to Windsor before embarking on a residency at the iconic Konvent in Catalunya.
