The Blackheart Orchestra are British multi-award winning, multi-instrumentalists Chrissy Mostyn and Rick Plkington; together they comprise a two person ‘orchestra’ playing up to 13 instruments in their unique live show. From their onstage ‘musical space station’ they create highly emotional contemporary rock music featuring a multitude of sounds and atmospheres from acoustic and electric guitars, bass and bowed guitar to piano, organ, vintage synthesisers, omnichord, melodica and electric percussion. They have been described as a modern day Pink Floyd with influences from as far afield as Kate Bush, Portishead and Cocteau Twins to modern composers Steve Reichand Philip Glass. They combine their folk and rock roots with electronica and classical.After having their Christmas single Winter Majesty on Radio 2, The Blackheart Orchestra set out on their 20 date Winterspring Tour that covers the whole of the UK in February and March. Playing favourites from their catalogue plus previewing songs from their forthcoming album ‘Arctic Deep Sea Diving’ the tour kicks off on Feb 5 and concludes with an End of Tour Matinee Spectacular Show at London’s Camden Club on March 29 promoted by London Prog Gigs.
Tour supports are incredible contralto songstress Autumn Dawn Leader who has opened for the band before and their new discovery Roan, an exciting new acoustic artist from South East England writing unguarded songs that “meet the listener in their depths”. The London show will feature TBO plus sets from both supports offering two and a half hours of music.

THE CAMDEN CLUB is one of London's newest and most exciting intimate venues (opposite The Roundhouse in Camden/Chalk Farm). Cabaret-style seating (and some standing) with gourmet burger menu available - please support the venue by buying food and drinks as this keeps venue hire prices down, enabling more of your ticket money to go to the bands. Tables are unreserved; get here early for the best in the house!
Entrance is via a flight of steps up from street level and then a flight of steps down to floor level. Please contact the organisers if you need to use the accessible (fewer steps) entrance, and/or if you require a guaranteed seat.
