LONDON HEATHEN KINDRED SEASONAL BLÓT CEREMONY 29-3-26.

London Heathen Kindred is a group for people who honour the ancient gods of Scandinavia and Northern Europe, commonly known in modern times as Heathenry or Asatru; we have 9 meetings for seasonal ceremonies each year, as well as hosting the Dawn of the Oak social meetings. Our indoor ceremonies are held on the last Sunday of January, March, May, July, September and November. The meeting is open from 1:30pm and is in the upstairs room; there is unfortunately no wheelchair access. There will be some socialising, and maybe a talk and discussion on the history and practice of Heathen traditions, until 3pm. The seasonal ceremony will then take place which will start promptly at 3pm and finish about 4pm. The doors will be closed during this time and there will be no late entry and no meals during this time. When the ceremony is over the doors will be re-opened and we are open for socialising until 7pm or longer. There is a small fee of £3.00 (cash preferable) to pay for ritual materials and hiring the room. We are an 'Inclusive' Heathen group meaning we welcome people who would like to know more about Heathenry whatever their religious, cultural or ancestral background, physical ability, gender identity or sexual orientation. We aim to provide a safe space for people to meet and share information in a respectful and enjoyable atmosphere free of any bullying or ridicule or bigotry. We are a friendly and informal bunch and have many years of experience between us and always give a warm welcome to newcomers.
