Welcome to the third edition of The Black Dawg Ultra!
What started out as a low-budget, low-octane and poorly-organised trail run on a farm in the arse end of nowhere back in 2024, two years later is still exactly that.
The run is in the form of an unofficial "backyard ultra". Sorry, a what!?!?
Basically, you will be running a 6km loop, on the hour, every hour, until your poor legs can run no more. Think of it as a really hard bleep test. With mud. And hills. The last one standing will be crowned top dawg.… the current record is 19 loops/ 118km!

Earlybird tickets £20 until midnight on Tuesday 5th May, £25 thereafter (+ small booking fee).

This year we will also be raising money for North Devon Hospice. We'll have some refreshments (teas, coffees, homemade cakes) available at the farm for a small donation. Donations can be made in cash on the day, or by visiting our JustGiving page below:
