Wanna know the one cool thing about being an adult? You (sometimes) get to do what you want. And I want to go to a Book Fair, dammit.
So we’re hosting our own. The Black Bird Commons is partnering with The Everyday Kitchen, and w Dr going to have our very own “Adults Only SK-o-Lastic Book Fair.”
Will have books, obvs —new & used —smelly pencils, posters, handmade art, silly erasers, all of it. We’ll even have prizes and other goodies. You’ll be able to vote for what you want our next event to be. I cannot wait! 😅
Oh, and we’ll also have cheap drinks. Some beer, a few cocktail options, and I’m going to try to make homemade Butterscotch Schnapps, so we can make our special shot, THE LONESOME DOVE (aka. A dirty Cowboy).
Every cent we make will be our back into the Black Bird Commons, so we can open our doors as soon as possible.
