Please join us for the 2025 Black Balloon Project Premier Event, as we honor those lost to overdose and fentanyl poisoning. This art exhibit features a powerful collection of photographs that aim to document the profound emotional journey of families impacted by the loss of a loved one due to overdose. The series portrays not just the sorrow of sudden loss, but the silence, isolation, and complex emotions that accompany the grief of surviving family members. It provides a stark, intimate exploration of how addiction touches lives and reshapes families in ways that are often unseen or misunderstood.
Through our art and our voices, we strive to end the stigma against those who struggle with substance use, advocate for change & honor those we miss.
This year we are excited to bring new artists to the event, showcasing their experiences & talents.
Doors open at 1pm, drop in anytime.
Speeches & Commemorative Slideshow begin at 3pm.
Appetizers & Refreshments will be served.
The Black Balloon Project is a 501c(3) non-profit that focuses on reducing stigma and advocating for those who struggle with substance use and their families.
