Dr. Robert Smith, the former Director of the Fort Riley Museum Complex, will present a program that will focus on the evolution of the American Revolutionary War Soldier from that of a hastily organized militiaman to a well-trained and efficient Continental Soldier.Dr. Smith has a Masters Degree in history from the University of Nebraska and a Ph.D from Kansas State University. Before his retirement in 2024, he directed the complete remodel of both the U.S. Cavalry and the 1st Infantry Division Museums at Fort Riley.
